Before you start

Onboarding goes smoothly when the information you need is already in hand. Gather these before you begin so you aren't stopped halfway through a step, waiting on a login or a spreadsheet.

Access​

  • Admin access to every sales channel you plan to connect (Shopify, Amazon, and any others).
  • Admin access to your fulfillment and 3PL platforms.
  • Admin access to your accounting system (QuickBooks Online, Xero) — you connect this last, but confirm you can when the time comes.

Your data​

  • Warehouse list, including any 3PL or FBA locations you fulfill from.
  • Supplier list with each supplier's payment terms and lead times.
  • Open purchase orders — anything ordered but not yet received.
  • Latest inventory count, and the exact date it was taken. You need this date to set your inventory start date and enter opening stock.

Your brand​

  • Logo and company details — legal name, address, and contact info. These brand the documents and emails SKU sends on your behalf.
